Storm has been chosen by the International Chamber of Commerce through the World Chambers group as the designer of the technical infrastructure for the new B2B ChamberTrust seal system and is a licensed administrator. ChamberTrust is not unlike other international chamber of commerce standardized services such as ATA Carnets documents, Certificates of Origin, and IC Letters of credit.

"The major impediment to adoption of e-Business, especially among small and mid-sized businesses, has been trust and confidence in brand less and anonymous business opportunities represented potential customers and suppliers in the 'new markets' opened by the internet. Add to that a deluge of never ending bulk e-mail campaigns and plenty of online fraud stories, and there is the fundamental paradox of e-commerce which has existed until recently: While e-commerce can indeed extend a business’ traditional reach into new markets and lower costs, these potential new customers and suppliers had difficulty conducting even basic due diligence on that business."

"Yet general economic uncertainties and the deflation of the dot.com bubble may have deterred but have not stopped the inexorable adoption by business of the Internet as a means of communication and connection with other enterprises. However, one result of the 'anything goes' bubble era has been the growing demand for a system to establish trust, or validation, between potential business partners."

"Therefore, as the oldest, most trusted, and widest network of businesses in the world, the International Chamber of Commerce through the World Chambers Network (WCN) group has stepped in and established the ChamberTrust-Seal B2B verification seal system (also known as TrustInfo), a web-based system of validation in which businesses can conduct basic due diligence with potential partners within or far outside their immediate region.
Only the chamber of commerce network could supply such trusted third party status among businesses. There are over 11,000 chambers and boards of trade in the world – some as old as 400 years."

"ChamberTrust was commissioned by the international chamber bodies as a new international chamber service similar to ATA Carnets (customs) documents, Certificates of Origin and Letter of Credits. ChamberTrust is also reminiscent of ISO certificates used for manufacturing standards, but covers the complete spectrum, including service industries. The B2B ChamberTrust seal is especially useful for firms transacting, or hoping to, nationally and internationally. It thus helps to lower costs and increase sales by greatly increasing the enterprise’s ability to attract potential business partners.
It is based on making the local chamber the continuous gateway to e-commerce for its members, combining local knowledge and due diligence with international standards and systems."
